Perched above Alki Beach with views of Puget Sound, the Alki Lookout is a playful coastal house, newly reimagined for a growing Southern California family. The extensive remodel encompassed big moves, inside and out. Originally built as a log cabin in 1910 and later undergoing multiple remodels, Bucktide rebuilt the home from the inside out, removing walls, upgrading mechanical and electrical systems, shoring up the old foundation, waterproofing, and re-siding the exterior. Bucktide’s woodshop fabricated all kitchen cabinets, wood features, and built-ins to add more storage.
